To the memory of
Elizabeth Pearson
Wife of Richard Pearson of Grantham of Lincoln
And the daughter of Robert and Sarah Frasier
She departed this life March 17th 1802 In the
31st year of her age
Remov’d from all the pains and cares of lice Here
reste the pleasing friends and faithful wife
Enobled by the virtues of her mind
Constant to goodness and in death resigned Sure
in the silent Sabbath of the grave
To date that tranquil peach she always gave O
early lost in virtues fairest prime
Thy pieties supply’d life want of time
No death is sudden to a soul prepared When
Gods own hour brings Gods reward
(Thy death and such O reader wich thing own)
Was free from terrors and with out a groan
Thy spirit to himself the
Almighty drew Mils as the sun
Exhales the descending dew
