EDWARD POWICK was seventh son of Samuel Powick, gamekeeper. He married Susannah Hill in July 1888. He mostly worked as a woodman, falling poles, peeling bark, gathering osiers and planting sets and trees. His sons included Sidney, Dennis and Cyril and his daughter Ruth became personal assistant to Sir George Vernon. Born at Curriers then in 1891 age 21 he is shown living in Lower Fuggers with his wife Susannah age 22 and son Samuel age 1
1901 age 31 living in Vine Cottage with his wife Susannah age 32 and children Samuel, James, Sidney and Marjorie.
Allen Medlicott (baptised, married and buried as Allen Bellamy) was employed most days from 1888-1897, working with two horses and cart, wagon, tushing wheels, plough, scuffling irons, harrow and anything else that his horses could draw. He moved cut wood from the fall to the timber yard or the Lenchford, bricks, sand, lime and other materials to whichever of the Vernon Eastate cottages needed it. He helped planting trees, gathering fruit, hay, straw and anything else. He went with the horses to help neighbouring farms when they needed the extra horse power.

1861 as Allen Bellamy, scholar age 10, living in Big Nicholls with stepfather James Medlecote (Ag.Lab. age 34, died 1874), mother Susana Medlecote age 33 (née Bellamy, 1851 = house servant with Alexander Symonds age 60 farmer 5 acres as head of household in Ombersley) and sister Ann Medlicote age 5 (baptised 8 July 1855). Parish Register entry: James Medlicott of Hartlebury labourer s. Edward Medlicott labourer m. Susanna Bellamy otp d. Thomas Bellamy labourer banns 18 Oct 1854 John Vernon rector wit. Samuel Harris & Mary Ann Medlicott.
1871 as Allen Medlycott, age 20, living in Shelsley Kings as cowman to farmer John Leyland. in 1881 as Allen Medlicott; general labourer age 28, living in Holders with his widowed mother Hannah and his brother James. 1891 age 38, still living in Holders with his mother and sister Mary.
1896 banns 25 May 1896, married Charlotte Cheese, spinster otp, (d. of Anne, born Abberley, baptised 5/8/1846; had been house servant to Joseph Thomas in Shelsley Beauchamp 1871, 1881; staying with sister’s family in Hove Sussex 1891).
1901 as Allen Bellamy, waggoner age 50, living in Lower Fuggers with wife Charlotte age 54.
1921 Allen Bellamy died age 70, Shrawley.
